Miller & Olson LLP is seeking a Lobby Compliance Specialist for its downtown Sacramento office. The Specialist position is responsible for administering the lobby reports for the firm’s clients at the Federal level and in all 50 states. Specifically, the position requires understanding the lobby disclosure rules and requirements at the Federal level and in all 50 states, maintaining a calendar of filing deadlines, communicating with clients in gathering information for public lobby reports, and preparing and filing lobby reports in a timely manner. Specialist will work directly with the firm’s Senior Paralegal and attorneys.

Candidates must possess a college degree, strong organizational skills, be self-starting, and meet multiple, fast-moving deadlines. Candidates should be proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate is dependable, positive, has an interest in politics, likes working in a small team and is able to interact professionally with clients. Position does require some nights and weekend work in busy times.
